About Rex Trewin

20 years of experience working in university career centers, company university recruitment teams, and with the vendors that through the use of technology brought these parties together. As a Campus Relations Consultant he will work with you on the best strategy to move your program forward.  Whether its developing a brand new programs,  updating stagnant ones, or bringing on a new customer base and has worked with all levels from Internships to Global MBA Rotational Programs.

Rex Trewin earned a Bachelors from Indiana University in Economics and Political Science and a Master’s from Indiana in West European Studies. He completed his Master’s Thesis Work on the Trifecta partnership between Universities, Chambers of Commerce and the Government in retraining, retooling, and reemploying downsized employees at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Rex began his professional career in1994 at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville as their Job Developer for Cooperative Education where he was president of the Illinois Association of Cooperative Education and Internships. He then left Illinois to create an Employer Relations Team at Emory University’s Career Center in Atlanta. After several years on the college side, he was recruited by Georgia-Pacific Corporation to develop new college recruiting programs targeting business units that did not traditionally recruit through colleges or universities. From August 2000 through 2006, he held the role of Business Development Manager for MonsterTRAK in the Southeast where he worked with both Employers and Career Centers on leveraging technology to improve their services including AT&T, Coca-Cola Company, and Southern Company. In addition, he has supported the National Career Centered Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Iota, as their national university relations director developing and creating career centered workshops and programs for all their national chapters. My career continued as the University and Diversity Recruiter for SAP focusing on MBA Recruiting for the Consulting, Global Leadership Development, Strategy and Value Engineering Groups. Beginning in 2010, he developed, created, and lead the Global University Recruiting System for Wipro Consulting/Wipro Technologies a 165,000 Bangalore based technology outsourcing company. A highlight of my career was my election to the Board of Directors as an Employer to MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance (formerly MBACSC) only the fourth such employer by the members.
